Legendary director, Frank Capra does a classic masterpiece of drama, comedy, and fantasy in a story about businessman, George Bailey (James Stewart).  His dream is to kick the dust off his shoes, go to college, and see the world.  But instead his father dies, and George must take over the business.   He marries Mary Hatch (Donna Reed), raises a family, and always must deal with old Henry Potter (Lionel Barrymore) his business enemy.  He spends his whole life helping other people.  Finally, poor George is "at the end of his rope," and the only thing keeping him from suicide is his guardian angel, Clarence  (Henry Travers).  America's most-loved film was nominated for 5 Academy Awards.   Not Rated (130 min.) mike laib 2012.
