The 1960s was a decade of revolution in the U.S.  It was the beginning of the youth culture, the first affluent generation, and America's most unpopular and longest war, Vietnam.  Against this setting, Jude (Jim Sturgess) leaves England for America in search of his long-lost father.  He winds up in New York and falls in love with Lucy (Evan Rachel Wood).  There, he meets Alex, Prudence, Sadie, Jo-Jo, and Paco.  Each has a destiny to fulfill in one of the most turbulent decades in this country's history.  Rated PG-13 (133 min.) mike laib 2010.
