In 2003, Morgan Spurlock performs an experiment where he eats nothing but McDonalds fast food 3 times a day for 30 days.  It and his examination of the fast food industry result in this eye-opening film (nominated Best Documentary, Academy Award).  He has the support of Alexandra Jamieson, his future wife, and he employs three doctors along with a nutritionist who all insist he is crazy, especially with the findings of his physical exams and blood tests.  Morgan also examines obesity in America, and how it starts in our elementary schools.  This is a must-see movie for ESL students who want to understand American fast food. Rated PG-13  (100 min.) mike laib 2012.
