1. Because Micky noticed that Ben is good at math, especially number[s]. Micky realized his ability when Ben answered in class and his way of solving a problem was based on his calculations.

2. Because he needs $300,000 for Medical Harvard school. At first he declined the invitation from Micky and Jill.

3. They avoid being detected by Cole by luring Micky.

4. This is movie is fun and kind of thrilling. Even though Ben decided not to continue after he got enough money to enter medical school, he could not quit counting in Las Vegas because he realized how extruding it is. He was kind of addicted to casino. Also, there are some actors and actor who I have seen before. The main character is from "Across the Universe". Micky is from "American Beauty," and Jill is from "Blue Crush". I was surprised because Jim Sturgess speaks American English althoguh he speaks British English on Across the Universe.

teacher's note: This author knows her actors and even noticed that British actor, Jim Sturgess lost his English accent for this film. Actually, he used a voice coach to authenticate his American accent. I also like how this and other authors observed Ben's character arc as the story progresses. Nice piece of writing, and thanks for being first to post.

1, Ben is good at calculating. In his work place, [a] customer was surprised because he counted immediately suit's cost for them. in addition, his exam is adequate almost 97%. Micky, his professor, found that, and invited him. He thought Ben has talent of Casino.

2, At first, Ben rejected [Micky's] invitation. However, he has some trouble in money to go medical school. Micky told him to get a lot of money if Ben join casino group. Finally, he decided to be in.

3, They memorized signals over 20 to avoid from security. These signals are secret among member of casino.

Actually, I like Jim Sturgees who acted in Across the universe, so I enjoyed this movie totally. Sometimes, I felt thrill. and also admired Las Vegas life at the same time. I do not like gamble, but I am curious about that. I want to make a lot of money in the future.

teacher's note: This author does a good job of setting up "21" without giving too much away. I would caution this author to use a consistent time frame. I like to use present tense, but a past time frame is OK too. I find it interesting that even though this author has no interest in gambling, she is still able to find the movie fascinating. 1. Because Ben is good at numbers. Micky thought Ben is helpful for the group.

2. Because he did not have enough money to go to Medical Harvard University. He applyed the scholarship to go there but he needed to dazzle the professor to get it. He did not have anything to dazzle him and he decided to join the group.

3. They used code words to identify numbers and gestures to communicate with the teammates without words. They also change their apparence each day.

4. I enjoyed the movie because of Ben. I enjoyed seeing the process how he changes. I've been to Las Vegas once and remember how people act. I thought the people in Las Vegas care about how much money they have and their rank. However, I heard that if a person has money, he or she is treated very well no matter what his or her race is. This is good value of Las Vegas.

teacher's note: It seems a lot of posters herein find Jim Sturgess' character to be quite compelling. Many of you are familiar with his performance in "Across the Universe," but you may not have see him in "Cloud Atlas." at . IMHO he turns in a fine performance in this awesome film. 4. I love this movie so much. This movie is talking about the people who is intellect and good at Math, so they earn money in the casino together. This game can't only play by oneself, so it needs cooperate with partner. Like me, I can't play this game because I am not good at Math and I can't play a long time with the money in the casino. Anyways, I really admire those people in the movie. I wish that I can earn money like them in some days.

teacher's note: I feel the same as this author. I too wish I could play casino games well enough to win consistently. In fact, I wish my game of golf were better too, but alas, this is not to be. Thanks for a fun and honest post. Now we both know all our secrets!

4, The movie talk[s] about a student's experience in Las vagas. Ben has good talent for math, he uses it to earn money, but finally he discoveres the money is not as easy as he imagine[s] to earn.[*Spoiler Alert*] He finally decides to help policeman to arrest his teacher.

teacher's note: Good solid report. I must caution this author to be careful with spoilers. This is only a small one, but I've seen some that are so detailed that they give away the entire ending and need to be removed. Thanks for a fun post!

1. Rosa was a proffesor at Ben's university, and at class he asked him a complicated question which he answered perfectly. So Rosa was amazed on how smart Ben is and decided to invite him to their crew.

2. Ben wants to be a medical student in harvard but he has to pay 300k, so he wanted to take the opportunity to go to las vegas and earn some money to pay for his tution.

3. They has this good system to not get caught counting by using hand gestueres and signals.

4. I really love thos movie this is the second time i watched it, id recommend it to everyone. I like how they figured out how to be the gambling system.

Ben is invited to the ground because he was very smart and had a photographic memory and can remember things easily and he empressed micky in the classroom. Ben joined the group because he needed 300,000 dollars to go to harvard med school and he is not sure that he will get the scholarship. They memories signs with thier hands and key word to know where the score is in the game so Ben can know wich move to make when playing. I liked this movie because it shows how people can cheat in games and win a lot and lot of money and most of the time get away with it. But also shows how if they get caught when will happen to them and they can get band from getting into casinos in Las Vegas. It was fast paced but that was good and I really enjoyed it.

Because in Micky's class, Ben gave impressive answer to Micky's question and Micky noticed that Ben has a mathmatical ability for playing black jack successfully.

Why does Ben decide to join the group?
Because Ben wants to fo to Harvard Medical School but it is too hard for him to get scholarship and he does not have enogh money for tution fee.

How does the team avoid detection from casino security?
They had a deal to lie to Micky and bring him to casino security.

Kevin Spacey is one of the best actor for me. And I was so glad to watch this movie because professor Micky, the character acted by Kevin Spacey is the key of the movie. All of his roles are attractive and affects a lot to the movies.
Also this movie never makes me feel relax and keeps giving interesting situation. So i think the director of the movie know how to get attention from viewers. And it is hard to predict what would be going on next like Ben got scholarship finally, this is one of the interesting points of the movie.

Why is Ben invited into Micky Rosa's group? Ben is a smart student and he answered a hard question that no body could answer it in the class, that why the group and P.R Mickey invited him.

Ben wanted to get the scholarship he couldn't get it, at that time he needs to pay the University fees، he wants to study at Harvard University, that's why he wants to join them to make money for the University (the school),because he had no money.

In the beginning the team got a lot of money, they were doing well, but Micky he was not doing anything he was just giving them advices, so Ben felt and got angry because of that he went back after he did a bad thing to the team and let them lose money, Ben planing to tricked Micky to Cole Williams and his group. However they went back to Vegas and they decided to play together as one team so Micky the professor went with them at the casino, Cole Williams was waiting for a long time to see professor Micky، Finally Cole got professor Micky as what they have planing with Ben and they did the deal and the mission.

This movie is the best movie i ever had, it's very interesting and the story looks real. Also i liked the way that they were working as a team and the way they learned the skills of the game .Thank you for the interesting movie .
