I don't thing they did great in the beginning or the middle of the interview but also I can't say it was bad[,] but it was confusing! They even confuse the interviewers. but at the end of the interview I think the knew how to wrap it up in a impressive way.

Teacher's note: Great summary! Yes, confusing to me too. Do you think they were being confusing on purpose? Or because they were trying to fake the whole thing?

They spoke so loud and noisily, and answered the question in unusual ways that they made their interviewers confused. But it was super funny and seemed that they're [were] not bad guys. If I were an interviewer, they might seem very interesting. Their last words were somewhat touching and seemed very honest. I can't say that they did well in the ordinary job interviews, but they did their best and attracted people's attention. So I think that in was an successful interview.

Teacher's note: Good points. The ending was touching, and the music helped. Thanks for posting.

In my opinion, in the beginning and in the middle of the interview Billy and Nick did not do well because they were confused and speaking loud. Moreover, they were in a library, so there were other people in the same place while they were doing the interview. They also lied when they pretended that they were university students. But at the end they were more sensitive and told the truth about the fact that they had lost their jobs, and that is why they needed that job. So, in this part they did better and were able to convince the interviewers.

Teacher's note: Isn't it amazing how we know so much about Billy and Nick, including their back story, from this five-minute sequence? Good writing, author, and excellent GPS.

I think their interview especially at the beginning was bad because they made the Interviewers confused. Also, their lies such as their computer, the place, and their situation were exposed. Even if they were funny, they were not supposed to pass the interview. However, they confessed their actual situation seriously around the end of the interview. That story should have been impressive for interviewers. This is the thing that they did well. Moreover, they were kind of funny.

Teacher's note: Yes, they were unusual, but this is GOOGLE, also unusual. Perhaps, they were perfect.

Although at the begging (GPS) of the interview they did not do well, Billy and Nick did well on the whole, I believe. In the first place, people who have lost their jobs around forty-year-old do not try the interview for the internship of Google, such a big company in generall, and surely the company would not hire such people.

In fact, they made a possibility to be adopted by the company by taking a kind of an initiative during the interview, starting the interview without any hesitation, asking questions properly and talking their experiences with adequate timing. Their talking skills which dominated even the interview was [were] both professional and funny.

Teacher's note: First off, let's be mindful of GPS. Overall, a nice job, nice to point out what Billy and Nick are up against, and how their plan just might work. Thanks for posting.

I think their attitude to the interviewer was very bad because they lied many times. They used the computer which was in the library as if it was theirs, and they told a lie that they go [went] to university. I think that it was very rude to the interviewer and also that company. In addition, they had to be more honestly because it was the "job interview." I think most people who take any job interview are very serious to get a job for their future. So in my opinion, if they took a job interview like this in the real, they could not get any job.

Teacher's note: I think this author is correct, . . . in the real world. But then, GOOGLE is a culture that "thinks outside the box." A couple friends of mine recently visited GOOGLE for real, and they reported that the reality is much like the movie. Hm-m-m-m.

First, their attitude is not good. They answered in a library and lied. They seem not to [be] suit[able] as people passing this interview. On the other hand, Their answers are very interesting and amazing. I believe their ways of thinking are flexible and creative. Probably, their answers can be answered by only Billy and Nick. I hope they will be key people in the Google company because they have possibilities and abilities which young people don't have.

Teacher's note: I couldn't agree more with this author, who expresses exactly why Nick and Billy will probably pass the interview, in spite of "stretching the truth." Thanks for posting.

In my opinion, I think they did not do well by middle of job interview because they had a job interview in the library to pretend to be university students and told many lies. But in the latter of [the] interview, I think they did well. Their answers were very impressive and interviewer[s] were also impressed by them. So I think if Billy and Nick were more honest, this job interview could be better.

Teacher's note: Well written. It seems clear that once Nick and Billy warmed up, their responses became more effective. Nice writing.

I think they did well on the whole because they got a little chance to enter the Google despite their background. Especially, the last part of their interview made the interviewer impressed [impressive]. I couldn't help laughing on that scene. They may be considered crazy from the first part of interview. However I think all is well that ends well.

Teacher's note: Thank you for quoting Shakespeare (minus the quotation marks :-) ) We can always count on the "Bard of Avon" to supply us with just the right few words to perfectly summarize an event. Nice post.
