My advise to ESL student, is you have to learn vulgar language for the sake of knowledge, and to understand [that] if one day someone uses the vulgar language in front of you, you will have at leas[t a] clue what he is talking about. but be careful to use it because it's a double edged sword.

Well, having seen this movie for twice before the class, I can still remember how generously Geoffrey Rush underplays Lionel, the witty and special speech therapist who is instrumental in making the king a speaker and a friend. Compared to George VI’s other speech therapists, Lionel focuses more on the psychological layer of the king's problem rather than just physical, and he believes that a person’s stutter worsens when he is more keenly aware of it and anxious about it. So he tries hard digging out the psychological issues that are troubling Bertie, which might established an invisible bridge between this two guys and finally build up Bertie's self-confidence.

I remember someone once said to me," Before learning a new language, one should get to know the vulgar worlds in the language." It sounds ridiculous to me back then. After all, I hardly even curse in my native language when I met the person. However, as I grew old, I realized that sometimes people curse to express feelings like fear, excitement, and anger. It is more of a spontaneously reaction other than wishing someone evil. Also, vulgar words sometimes also reflect its culture to some extent. Most importantly, everyone wants to understand when other people are saying bad things about themselves That should be the biggest reasons why many people are eager to learn vulgar words.

Definitely, we can hardly imagine the life as a king but we do can have a glimpse from this film. I remember when the doctor asked him whether he has ever use F word, his answer was never. To them, probably these words are so much far from them and could never be used by them publicly.

The English language it’s also composed by the vulgar words so if someone wants to understand everything what people say, he has to know those words and also so other people that known the words can´t have the opportunity to make fun of the people how doesn’t know those words. In the way we free our self, a way in which the person take outside the feelings that are stronger than the others, for example when you hit your tiny toe with the bet it hearts so much and happens so fast that you use the ” f” word like a reaction.

It is true that vulgarity is also part of a language, and every language has it. If people don’t understand it, they might lose the chance to understand the subtle nuance of the sentences. So whether you like it or not, you need to learn it. However, this does not mean that you need to use it. Depending on your preference, being able to understand the vulgar words might be enough.

As we all know,using vulgar words when we speak is always regarded as a rude and impolite behavior.However, I think to ESL student, it is necessary for them know about the F words.Because as an English learner, we should know all the aspects of this language, which can help us better express our feelings and understand the real meaning of English. Thus learning the vagular words seems like an inevitable part of English learning.

A native's speech is never clear, accurate and literary. So, if somebody want to speak like native, he/she has to use every-day common words, F words or even argot. Nevertheless, one should know how to use it because he risks to end up in a tricky situation. That is why the best way to learn F words and their usage is to contact with natives, do not be afraid of asking explanations of new words and expressions, read newspapers, magazines and articles on the Internet, watch movies and listen to the native's music.

From my own experience, I used to listen to the English music and reading lyrics; that helped me a lot. Now I prefer real conversation with native speaker.

It is undeniable that vulgar words have been used very frequently in daily life in English. Although I don't think people should use those words in every situation, there are some situations when people would like to use them, only to express their emotions. Thus, in order to understand English in a better way, as a non-native speaker, I think people should know about vulgar words. A good way to learn the language is to communicate with people who speak English and watch TV shows where vulgar words are also used.
