We watched three short sences on last friday from "It Happened One Night," "Titanic," and "Rain Man." :D It's my first time to watch short sences in class,it's funny.
"Titanic" it's one of the most popular movies in the world, many people like to watch this movie, because it's very romantic. We watched the sence is about they stand on the deck fence of the ship, they enjoy the wind when they feel in that moment they can fly.I thought they have a nice time, because I saw that they always smile when they stay with each other. In the end of this movie,I felt very sad, because Jack dead, but his girlfriend is stay[girlfriend stays] a life.It always make me cry,but it's romantic. ;)
"It Happened One Night"it's my first time to watch this movie, because this film look like very old,I never seen that when I lived in China.Althought I just watched a short sence, but I thought it's funny. The man tuaght the woman how to use the hand to let the car stop, but the man can't work when he used his hand to try to stop the car.The woman saw that and said she doesn't use her hand but she can stop the car,and the man didn't believe her. Finally, the woman used her leg to make a sexy pose and then the car stopped,it makes me laugh.
"Rain Man"When I saw this sence,I feel it's crazy, because I saw two man dance togrther,I can't believe it.They look like gay,I can't think that in the end of the movie what happen are they.
In my opinion,my favourite movie is "Titanic",it's romantic.

Teacher's Note: Good post, mostly on topic. Needs GPS.

At the first, i want to declare that i only watched a movie--Titanic. I have never watched another two movies. But Titanic is famous and as is well-known.
I went to the movie with my parents when i was a little child. My memory of it is not clear now.
I just remember there is a very old woman in the movie. And the old woman was telling a long story. As present, i know the feeling of them.I guess the feeling is love and the young man love the woman very much.
He died because he saved the woman as much as possible. He tried his best.
And the second movie is It "Happened One Night".I have never watched this but i guess the man and the woman are very interesting and facetious. I guess that the man will fall in love with the woman. I guess they will have funny stories.
The picture is my reason of that i guess above.
And "Rain Man", i guess they are brothers. The young man is smart and successful. Another man is an amentia man. I was moved when i watched this movie. There is a beautiful and strong relationship of them in the movie.I guess they can break so many hard things and
get a great end. They will be better.

Teacher's Note: Needs to be more on the topic, not a summary of the movie. God ideas.
Thanks. --mike :arrow:www.MoviesGrowEnglish.com ;)

first of all, i talk about "rain man". it's drama film. it's tell about person, Charlie Babbitt, want to have a big money of his father when he died but it's impossible because his brother who is known a mental patient will be having all money. Charlie find any way to take back all money. when i watch a short scenes, i see that charlie teach his brother how to dance to become a normal person. it's a family
second, It Happened One Night is old movie in 1934. i don't know about this movie so when i saw it, i think it comedy movie. the man always want to use a body languages which he read but it is not usefull. when she turn, she use a special body languages( only girl).
at last, titanic is famous movie, i really like song of movie. when i saw a short scenes, it's a beautiful scene, they use all felling, it is a love.

Teacher's Note: This essay needs to be on the topic, and needs GPS. Good ideas.

I have seen both Rain Man and Titanic, but i have not seen the movie Hitchhiking witch it seemed like a good movie actually ! Want i want to say about these three movies is that they all had some kind of conection, some kind of "love story" and they conected well. We saw a complicatied love between brothers . Titanic was also a complicated love movie. Complicated love between a woman and the man. That is my thought about the movie scens that we saw.

feel free to add a coment ppl of your thoughts and share =)

Teacher's Note: Good writing. I'd like to see each sceen analyzed separately with inferences based only on what appears in the scene. And more detail. Still, this is a well-written gloss.

Among three of the movies, I have only seen 'Titanic' before.
'Titanic' is a classic love story that is well-known throughout the world and It represents romance. Jack and Rose met and they fell in love. I believe this could happens thousands of times everyday for many people(well i guess). But Rose still missed Jack even though she became a old woman and I think this is how it made the movie so touching. It tells us that we have to treasure the people that we love. To be honest, I don't really enjoy this movie that much because it always make me feel so sad when I watch it as Rose was the only one who survived. I love movie that has a happy ending.
I actually quite like 'It happened one night' because the relationship between the woman and the man was quite interesting in the way how they talked and teased each other. And i love the way how the man failed to stop a car but the woman made a succeed in the end. She used a special body language and it made me laugh because the car stopped immediately. I hope they would be together happily in the end of the movie. I really appreciated this kind of relationship between couples because I think that it would make life more fun as life is just too short.
For 'Rain Man', It talked about the relationship between the 2 brothers. The elder brother seemed to have some mental problem and he wanted to have a date with someone. The younger brother then taught him how to dance in the hotel room. The younger brother took care of his elder brother because he has some problem and I think this is exactly how family should be like. We should care about each other. :D

Teacher's Note: I liked your narrative of "It Happened one Night" and "Rainman" because they were on topic. "Titanic" was more about the film in general. Some pretty good inference here.
Thanks. --mike :arrow:www.MoviesGrowEnglish.com :x

In my opinion, this three scene was about three forms of STRANGE LOVE. It was family love by Raymond and Charlie in the Rainman, at a beautiful place, beautiful moment in Las Vegas, on the top of the world, but unfortunately Raymond mentally handicapped, and it's so sad. They are waiting to his first date but he don't[doesn't] know how is abput..On the other film,Titanic, there is a perfect moment again, flying, romantic kiss on the biggest boat of the world, sun just going down, perfect moment for a kiss and love, but everybody knows this love never can be fulfilled, because Rose and Jack never could be married couple in that time of history. The third one is just simple the truth, the hitchhikers scene shows for everyone. The man tried to hitchhiking, how the rules says, and how usually does and works. But now we can see, men professional and women nice and cute. Sometimes better to be cute. It was a tortuous situation again.

Teacher's Note: Asside from the need for a GPS bandaid, a good essay with some cool inferencing.

-MOVIE KARAOKE-

"It Happened One Night", "Titanic", and "Rain Man". These touched my mind. It let us know different personalities' relationships in the class. These movies showed us love and brotherly love.

(Rain Man) Tom Cruise won lots of money by controlling his brother in the casino, Las Vegas. Until this scene i felt Tom Cruise used his brother like an object. His brother has a kind of autism, he wanted to meet a women at the night with dancing, however, he couldn't know how to dance. At the moment Tom felt something. and then try to teach his brother in detail. i felt that we can't ignore and get rid of brotherly love, even we are on an ordeal.

(It Happened One Night) actually, i haven't been able to understand what they were in relationship. they were a pair of hitchhikers and a man tried to stop the cars many times after explaining mystique of hitchhiking to her. he, however, couldn't stop even a car. that's all i felt in the movie.

(Titanic) I've seen this movie many times. i was able to feel real love. she is one of survivors in going down with the ship. she recollected the romance on the Titanic and can't forget all they had together and she hasn't still been married because she has felt that he is a first love and last love for her.
Titanic always touch my mind while i'm watching.

Teacher's Note: Well-organized, mostly on-topic. Call the GPS doctor.

Titanic was one of those grow-up memory. The significant scene was that one every post, where Jack holds Rose waist, standing in the front of Titanic. However, the part that touches me the most is when Rose laying on the floating wood, watching the night full of stars, holding Jack's frozen hand singing. Jack pretended that he is okay and let Rose stay away from the cold water. He even encourages Rose never give up her life no matter what happen before he froze to death. I realize how huge feedback Jack give back to Rose for she give up her great expectations within the marriage, better chance for survive and everything else just to follow her love and freedom with Jack. Even though the story has a sad ending. But their love story is unforgettable.
In Rain Main, Raymond has Down's Syndrome. Charlie is a smart businessman who has a car company which makes good profit. Charlie is so surprised to find out that his father died without living his money to him. Instead, his father left it to his brother, Raymond. He kidnap his brother so that he can get those money back. But one the way he is on the road with his brother in couples days. He find out the love his brother has for him. And discover it is because of his safety, his parents put Raymond in hospital. Then he comes to understand and loves his brother, Raymond. I am so glad it has a very Hollywood ending, where it makes both sides happy.
In it happened one night, a rich girl fell in love with a normal reporter. They first fight but ends up falling in love with each other.
All of those stories tell unfair relationships come to a climax with sympathy from both sides. It is true that unfairness is everywhere in life. It is our good will to see both side works towards the same direction. We want to see things that matches our dream. But for me, most of time, those are too unreal. That is why those movies are always so success, because they are reflection of our expectations for reality.

Teacher's Note: This author has summarized all three movies pretty well. However the instruction asks to comment on only what appears in the three scenes, with inference.

"Titanic" is the one of those movies i have watched. "Rain Man" , "It Happened One Night" are really funny,i like these movie.
About "Titanic",i think there is no sence[sp.] to make a[an] inferences, most of us have seem this movie.
I have had some inferences about "It Happened One Night" when i watched at that day.
First, the women and the men will get a ride after the women show[s] her curs.
Second, thumbing up to get a ride is one of the interesting things the men is going to teach the women. The women may fall in love with the men[man] because she get lots of happiness from the men.
About the "Rain Man",i admire the old brother, because he teach[es] his brother so slow,so serious.i can imagine that the young brother make[s] a good dance with a girl in a restaurant. And i think there is not the only thing the older brother will teach the young brother in the future of the movie.
I like those movies,i am going to watch the entire of those movies when i have time. :D

Teacher's Note: Good point that, having seen Titanic, it may be difficult to block out your recollections of the movie. There are a number of basic (present simple tense) issues here and a need for some GPS doctoring. Thanks for posting.

It Happened One Night
At the beginning, two persons, a man and a woman was[were] carrying their luggage and walking on the road. Obviously, they wanted to be hitchhikers because they looked so tired. Therefore, they preferred to sit on the side of the road and waited for the passing cars. During the rest, the man started to eat the row carrot, which he thought it was delicious and the woman refused to have it because she thought it was dirty. At the same time, the man who seemed to be familiar to how to be a good hitchhiker began to teach the woman how to catch a car as a hitchhiker as soon as possible. He thought there are three kinds of sign language with the thumb can help them, so he tried to stop a car with his methods. What a pity, there was no car-drivers would like to stop their cars. One car passed, two cars passed, three cars passed
