Robert: First, he doesn't believe in true love but after he meet Giselle and spend time with her then he believe in true love. Marriage in Robert's meaning it means someone who have to take care him, go out and have dinner together. But Giselle changes his opinion and she marries with Robert.

Giselle She is from fantasy world. So when she comes to NY, she still believe in true love and find her true love - Prince Edward. But she lives with Robert and he helps her everything so she open her heart to Robert. After that she changes her mind about true love because of Robert.

fantasy world vs. the real world Fantasy world is a world in imagination. It's not real. Everyone in that world always happy and no angry. You can talk to animal easily.
But the real world is not, everyone has angry feeling and everyone always have competition such as in office. You have to work hard for money and have only few days for take a rest.
In my opinion, this is the romance movie that I watch after TITANIC. In overall, it is very good romance movie because it has many feelings in this movie not only romance but also comedy in some scene.  :)

Robert thinks that the true love is difficult to find, and the couple should date before they get married. In contrast, Giselle thinks that the true love is exist and does not need any complicated procedures, we just need to believe it.

Even though the movie is a little bit ridiculous, it leaves an effective impact inside my heart. It is difficult to explain, but at least I can say that the movie has a message to our hearts.

ENCHANTED is the kind of movie that nearly every girl loves. Giselle, a maiden living in the fairytale world, fell in love at the first sight of Prince Edward. Unfortunately, right before their wedding, Queen Narissa sent her to New York City, the real world. In this “no true love” city, she met Robert, a divorce lawyer, and his cute daughter, Morgan. The ending is a very typical one, “…Robert and Giselle live happily ever after…” Girls love “happily ever after”!

In the beginning, Robert, because of his career and personal experience, didn’t believe in true love and marriage. But typical fairy tale girl Giselle kept faith in that. That is the difference between the cool reality and the romantic fairy tale world. In the end, Giselle made Robert change his mind.

I enjoy movies like Inception but I also love those like Enchanted. I feel totally at ease while watching movies of this kind. It’s relaxing and fun and you would forget about all the annoying things in real life. And we know that there will definitely be a happy ending. Escape would be the right world to describe our status when watching movies like Enchanted. Enchanted was an innovation to combine animation and real world which was quite fresh for me when I first watched it. Unfortunately, like other “happily ever after” movies, I forgot the plots easily. I haven’t realized I have watched it until Giselle met Robert. However, I still love it. When the real world is so complicated, it feels good to see the pure, simple Giselle “conquer” the reality.

In the cute Disney romantic fantasy Enchanted, the innocent fairy tale girl Giselle was exiled to New York, where happily-ever-after story seems impossible. But in a Disney movie, the leading actress somehow always manages to find true love. The minute Giselle ran into Robert, we all knew a romance was about to start. Robert believed that love and relationship should be based on understanding and careful planning, so he spent five years to know more about his girlfriend before he decided to take a step forward. He was totally surprised by Giselle’s spontaneous and ingenuous attitude towards love, and was finally moved by Giselle’s warmth and cheerfulness. Giselle, on the other hand, learned to be more cautious about love.

I like the film’s descriptions and views on the two worlds. Although everything is simpler in the fairy tale world, Giselle was attracted and decided to live in the real world in the end. I guess one of the reasons is that Giselle found herself to be more complete in the real world. There was this scene where she felt angry for the first time in her life since she was incapable of being angry in fairy tale. She was very happy about her new emotion, and I guess it became impossible for her to go back once she has experienced more emotions, since simple life may seems bland to her now.

Although I really like Giselle, at some points, I feel a little bit sad for Nancy, Robert's ex-girl friend, who was with Robert for five long years, and was finally "outmaneuvered" by Giselle. The word outmaneuvered may not be appropriate since Giselle was so pure, and she had no intention of stealing Robert's heart. I felt sad for Nancy since she is an example of average girl in the real world. She spent five years with somebody who she thought was the one, but had to give way for her Mr. Right's true love. Luckily, however, Nancy was rescued by Edward, so that she also gets to live happily ever after.

Robert is a divorce attorney who does not believe in true love or happily-ever-after. He has a 5-year relationship with his girl friend Nancy without getting married. In his opinion, love is so complicated that he cannot imagine a person could marry another after only a day just because they fell in love with each other. Thereby, he tended to control his true feeling when he really encountered his true love Giselle.

Giselle is a princess who used to live in the fairy-tale world, but was exiled to a real world New York City's Times Square. When she came to the real world, she still keep her pure and innocent traits. She believes that love could happen at the first sight, and could last forever. Although afterwards, the reality disappointed her and told her that love does consist of many more complexities than she once thought, she still has an optimistic attitude towards Love, and finally she indeed harvested the true love with Robert.

According to Enchanted, the fantacy world is highly distinctive with the real world. Basically, people in fantacy world is simple, innocent and happy, but people in the real world are complicated and have many worries.

When we are young, almost every single girl loves white dress, looking forward to meet her prince charming, expects the true love’s kiss, just as Giselle does. However, as we grow old, the people around persuade us that fairy tale doesn’t exist. Once, We resist believing what they said. We have faith in “happily ever after”. However, the real world is so cruel. Gradually, we not only give up our beautiful dreams, but also becoming the one who despise fairy tales.
From my perspective, most of us are combination of Robert and Giselle. We believe in Fairy tale; yet once hurt by the real world, therefore afraid to hold hopes.
For this movie, obviously it is illogically and even ridiculous like any other Disney movies. However, it is also ridiculously sweet and happy. I can only say: I LOVE it. It has my own prince charming playing Robert. Also I love musical, and of course, happily ever after. Real life is cruel, so being able to see other people, even those illusory characters are delightful.
In a word, thank you so much for playing this wonderful movie.

Enchanted is a very typical Disney movie with a sweet-happy-ending.

Enchanted, the story is about the beautiful princess Giselle who lives in the animated fairytale world, Andalasia. When Giselle falls in love with the handsome prince named Edward, the evil queen was so upset and she worried about Giselle will take the throne away from her. Therefore, she send Giselle to the real world where she thinks is the place without true love, safety and harmony, New York. It is also the place where the beautiful Giselle first time meet her true love, Robert. The real-life of Giselle was just began. She has to adapt to everything of this new place. While finding her all the way back to her hometown Andalasia and waiting all the time for her prince come to New York to rescue her, her emotion was changing, she was getting a whole new perspective of life. And she finally falls in love with her true love Robert, and live a happy life with him. What a true fairytale.

Enchanted, has well-described what is the differences between the real world and fantasy world. In the fantasy world, there is no pain, no dangerous, everything is so wonderful. People even have no feeling of angre. And this is a place where everything might have a very positive and happy ending, like what Giselle thinks about love. When she first meet the prince Edward, they decided to married each other, and then have a happy life. However, when she is in New York, Robert tells her about not everything is necessary to have a happy ending, the prince might not come to rescue Giselle. This makes Giselles feels so upset because in her world, everything should ends with a happy ending.

True love is the key of this movie. But i guess Robert and Giselle have the different understanding of what true love is. For Robert, he does not really understand what it is. He is having a 5 years relationship with Nancy, and he thinks that is very enough for them to be married. However, when he meet Giselle, the relationship with Nancy was changed. For Giselle, she does not really understand what does true love mean at the very beginning. She thinks the first meet with Edward is about true love, without dating and without getting to know more about each othere. Whereas when she meet Robert, and had the date with him, she finally understand the true love is more than first meet, is about how they know each other, the feelings of each other.

ENCHANTED its a movie about a young woman looking for a true love and a happily ever after life.

My opinion about the movie.
i liked the movie because I've never saw a movie like this, the way they moved from a the fantasy world to the real world its really a great idea. But i didn't like the story that much maybe kids and females would like it more or even loving it.

I would give the movie 6.5 just because of the idea.

Robert is a soulless, dull and stolid man. He doesn’t believe in true love. For him, marriage should be between logical people and people must know each other before getting marry.

Giselle is a silly princess who believes in unrealistic emotional relations and believes in love at first sight. She also thinks that love is the most important thing in life. If she were a part of this world, she would’ve been fooled by lot of people. (I am kidding ☺, she could be a good role model for little girls. Besides, world needs positive emotions and fairy tales)

Enchanted says that the real world is becoming insensitive and cruel. People do not care about emotions and kindness anymore.

I actually liked the first half of the movie. Disney films have to be imaginary and enchanting for children. So, we shouldn’t try to find logic behind it.
