Falling Down is a movie about a man named D-Fens, who wants to celebrate his little daughter's birthday. He wants to change coins to call his wife and daughter, but his wife is not happy to take his call. She hopes that D-Fens will not come to her house, but he insists that he will.
When he goes into the CVS, the boss, who is Korean, wants D-Fens to buy something, so he gets a cola. It is about $1.95. Then,he asks the store owner the price for everything. This makes him surprised and angry, so he uses baseball bat to destroy everything in the store. The Korean is so scared, he tells D-Fens to take money from the cash register because he thinks D-Fens is a thief, but he's not. He just thinks the prices are not fair. D-Fens pays for the cola and walks away. However the Korean reports the robbery to the security authorities.
D-Fens continues walking, and meets two guys who want to steal the briefcase from D-Fens, but he refuses to to give it to them. They use knife to attempt to force D-Fens. He uses a basball bat to fight them off. They run away, so D-Fens is so unhappy.
After that, they drive a car to find him because they want to kill him. The shoot at him, but miss. However, many other people get hurt by their guns. Unluckily, they end up in a traffic accident. D-Fens walks up to their car and takes all of their guns. He shoots one guy in the leg. His girlfriend goes to the police station to report the incident. The policeman know it is D-Fens, and they go to his house to find him.
Finally, D-Fens meets his family. He still has a gun. His wife is so scared. He embraces his daughter. Suddenly, the policeman tells him to hide the gun. The policeman walks around him. He wants to distract his attention. Then, his wife takes his gun. The policeman orders D-Fens to surrender, but he chooses to die.
Teacher's note: Thanks for posting. After (more than) a few edits, this is a pretty good summary. It is strongly recommended that before writing, always read the instructions first and make sure you understand them, or ask the teacher. In this case the instructions were to compare/contrast the two main characters. I hope there was a lesson learned here.
