The biopic of Ray Kroc (Michael Keaton) and how he built the McDonald’s restaurant empire is both a cautionary tale and a scenario of divine persistence.   In the 1940s, the McDonald brothers opened their first restaurant in San Bernardino, CA, where they developed the blueprint for fast-food restaurants that remains today.  Ray Kroc saw the potential and had the persistence to carry this idea across America and the world.  This is the story of how he did it, but what was the one thing the brothers had, and the one thing that Kroc had which made all the difference?  With Laura Dern.   Rated PG-13 (115 min.) mike laib 2017.
