Here is a New York story about a guy with an astonishing talent for understanding the needs and motives of single women, so much so, that he’s turned his gift into a business helping single men connect with the women of their dreams.  In this department, it seems Hitch (Will Smith) can do no wrong until he meets Sara (Eva Mendes), a gossip columnist who’s encountered every kind of guy, and knows all the tricks of the trade.  The problem is that the “date doctor” falls madly in love with Sara, but if she knew what he really did for a living, this could become a big problem for both of them.  Would you like to guess what happens next?  With Kevin James.  Rated PG-13 (118 min.) mike laib 2017.
