The Emerson family moves to Santa Carla looking for a fresh start, but instead they soon realize the truth about why so many of its citizens, especially kids, have gone missing.  When Michael (Jason Patric) takes a liking to Star (Jami Gertz), she leads him directly into the source of the mystery.  A motorcycle gang of young vampires lead by David, (Kiefer Sutherland) a very scary bully, has infested Santa Carla, and they need fresh blood to survive.   Edgar (Corey Feldman) and Alan (Jamison Newlander) Frog who work at the comic book store, are the only locals who know what’s going on, but who would believe them, and who is behind the sinister evil of “The Lost Boys?” With Dianne Wiest, Corey Haim, Edward Herrmann.  (horror / comedy)   Rated R (97 min.) mike laib 2017.
