In Part III, Oedipus Wrecks, (directed by Woody Allen), a New York lawyer (Allen) is so ashamed of his mother that he wishes she would disappear.  The great twist of this tale is how he gets his wish and the funny results.  Stars Mia Farrrow as the not-good-enough fiancée.  Mae Questel (1908-1998), the mother, was once the voice of Olive Oyl in the old “Popeye the Sailor” cartoon and also the voice of Betty Boop in the 1930s.  Rated PG (45 min.) mike laib 2010.
