This was one of the movies I wanted to see, and it was really lovely movie! I think I can watch this movie again and again.
This movie was the story about the lovely family. The film well describes each character's concerns or problems. There are lots of scene that I like.
I like the scene when Dwayne became aware of his color blind[ness] and screamed various things... (fucking family or something), and mom failed persuading him and gave up, however Olive could take him without even one word. Olive just held her brother's shoulder, and then Dwayne said, ok let's go. It was a cute scene. Sometimes Mom worries too much about children I feel, and my brothers sometimes understand me better. I think brothers or sisters are closer. They are often holding the same feeling as mine. This scene reminds me of that.
Olive's dance show at little miss sunshine was also a very good scene. Father, uncle Frank and Dwayne, everyone ran into the backstage and said, "Don't let her go, this place is stupid." And Dwayne was worrying that she might get bad judgement and she might be depressed...However, actually Olive was more powerful. Beyond Dwayne's concerns, Olive made one of the judges confused and made her angry, but she still continued her performance.
Then, surprisingly, father followed Olive and started dancing instead of stopping her! It was so funny but also it was warm and lovely scene. Actually, the girls participating in the little miss sunshine contest seemed crazy. They are not like children. They were little adults. It was too much, too much dressing up, too much make up, and too much treating.
But the best scene is the every scene the family getting the bus. I really like that scene. I like to see the family taking on the same problem together.
I really enjoyed this movie, I love family movie♥ thank you.
Teacher's note: I'm so glad you enjoyed "Little Miss Sunshine" and felt the personal connection. It's so true that siblings often understand each other far better than their parents understand them. This post observes several of the most touching scenes in the film, scenes that make "Little Miss Sunshine" a classic IMHO. Thanks for being the first to post, and for so generously sharing your insight. We love it!!!
