Erin (Julia Roberts) is a single mom with three kids and no job.  She begs her way into a low-paying position as assistant to Ed Masry (Albert Finney), a lawyer.  Her next-door neighbor, George (Aaron Eckhart) provides romance and childcare, while Erin takes a growing interest in a legal case where a large number of families have become sick from the local water.  After a long struggle, she and Ed win the largest direct-action lawsuit in U.S. history.  Her story is a triumph against great odds.  Rated R (130 min.)  mike laib 2010.
