George Valentin (Jean Dujardin) is a silent movie superstar whose life will change with the coming of sound in movies.  Peppy Miller (Bérénice Bejo), a young Hollywood starlet, catches the wave of change and rises to stardom.  Their story comes alive in the first feature-length silent movie since the 1930s.   When George is fired by studio boss, Al Zimmer (John Goodman) for not wanting to make sound movies, he produces his own silent movie.  Meanwhile, Peppy welcomes her new role in talkies, but how does it all end?   Winner of 5 Academy Awards  including Director, Michael Hazanavicius, Producer, Thomas Langmann & Lead Actor, Jean Dujardin.  Rated PG-13 (100 min.) mike laib 2012.
