In 1976, James Hunt (Chris Hemsworth) and Niki Lauda (Daniel Brühl) are the two hottest drivers on the dangerous Formula One race-car circuit.  This is a sport where drivers risk everything, even their lives, to win.  This is a story, based on true events, about  a rivalry between two very different personalities, two men who want the same thing -- to become world champion. This is a tale of two giants who hate each other, but who grow to have the deepest respect for one another.   Ron Howard directs this movie in a poetically-intense style that makes us feel like we're actually inside the race, where the smell of burnt metal and hot flesh may await, beyond the next hairpin turn.
