Ten-year-old Chihiro and her parents drive to their new home in the country.  When her dad gets lost in the woods, they find a long dark tunnel.  On the other side, they discover a village but no people.  Soon Chihiro's parents are turned into pigs, and a lonely little girl is all alone in a strange world filled with ghosts.  In order to survive, she must decide who she can trust, but more importantly, she must  learn to overcome her shyness and find her strength to survive before she is eaten alive by all kinds of strange and hungry creatures of the afterworld in this wonderful fairy tale directed by acclaimed Japanese animation director/artist,  Hayao Miyazaki, Academy Award for Best Animation Feature, Japanese Academy Award, Best Film.  Rated PG (125 min.) mike laib 2012.
