When Nick (Owen Wilson) and Billy (Vince Vaughn) lose their jobs as watch salesman, they get accepted for an internship at Google.  The problem is they know almost nothing about information technology, and they are much older than everyone else in the program.  Plus Billy's wife has left him, and Nick can't keep a relationship going for more than three months.  Now, with everything against them, Nick falls in love with Dana (Rose Byrn), as Billy tries to get their team of interns to win the competition for a real job at Google.  This fascinating comedy takes us into the heart of Silicon Valley and Stanford University where "on the line" connections are all happening.  Rated PG-13 (119 min.) mike laib 2014.

Classroom Tips:

1. Preview both the movie and its lesson. Lesson and movie are in the same sequence.
2. Within the lesson, decide which quotes, questions, and vocabulary to focus on. Highlight or cut-and-paste content you plan to use.
3. Estimate how you'll use available time for both watching and discussing the movie.
4. Remember: Most questions on the lesson are easy for a native speaker of English to answer, so the movie itself is the answer key.
5. Assessments are at http://www.moviesgrowenglish.com/Assessments.html.
