Africa, often ignored by the outside world, is a continent long known for natural and man-made disasters.  In 1994 Rwanda, Paul Rusesabagina (Don Cheadle) is a hotel manager in the city of Kigali when his whole world descends into a war of genocide between the Hutus and the Tutsis.  All he wants is to save his family, but he ends up rescuing 1200 people from certain murder in a true story of survival and courage.  Colonel Oliver (Nick Nolte) is award nominatios.Paul’s U.N. helper.  For the record, more than 1,000,000 men, women, and children were murdered during this conflict.  Director, Terry George, 3 Academy Award nominations.
