Sean Boswell is a teenager who likes race cars and can't resist trouble.  So his mother sends him to Japan to live with his father.  Sean is quickly introduced to the dangerous world of drift racing.  He also meets Neela, girlfriend of  racer DK whose uncle is a member of the Japanese underworld.  Sean and Neela are drawn together when they discover that they have much in common.  Soon Sean challenges DK for his girl and to beat DK at his own game of drift racing.  But when things become deadly, Sean must go to DK's uncle to seek forgiveness and find a way to end his feud with DK.
